Mirka will show an electric sander that is lighter and easier to use compared to any other comparable sander. This sander will be presented for the first time at Farbe 2016 in Munich, Europe’s biggest trade fair for facade design & interior architecture, and it will be available in limited volumes in the beginning of 2017. The sander will solve many of the problems that the end users are facing today when wall sanding.
During the last years, Mirka has successfully launched its new generation of electric sanders. Mirka DEROS has been awarded both the IF product Design Award 2014 and the Red Dot Industrial Design Award 2014. Mirka DEROS is the smallest electric random orbital sander on the market and as with all Mirka machines, excellent ergonomic design has been a top priority.
In the beginning of the 21st Century, Mirka introduced Abranet and dust-free sanding. The company’s state-of-the-art net abrasives have made a turnaround in the abrasive market, both when it comes to health and safety as well as economic and environmental aspects. We have been developing the dust-free sanding concept for 15 years and we will dedicate, 2016, to sharing useful insights in a global campaign, Dust-free perfection. We want to share the knowledge we have gained during the years and we are dedicating this year to informing customers and end users about the benefits with dust-free sanding.
