Mirka Canada Inc. (“Mirka”) warrants that the following Mirka products will be free from defects in material or workmanship from the date of purchase for the time period indicated:
a. Electric tools (DEROS except dust extractors): 2+1 years *
b. All other tools (MR, PROS, Two- Handed Sander, Pneumatic, Dust Extractor): 1 year
c. Tools used in a continuous industrial environment are excluded from the 2+1
warranty, and will be covered for 1 year only.
* By registering an electric tool within 30 days of purchase, Mirka will warrant
the product for an additional one year.
Warranty certificates are machine and customer dependent; each tool must be registered separately.
Registration and additional warranty cannot be transferred to another person or company.
If a problem occurs with a MIRKA Tool included in these warranty terms and the problem is caused by a manufacturing defect material or by workmanship; MIRKA will repair your tool free of charge in accordance with the warranty terms and conditions stated in the Generic Warranty Manual. To keep your tool warranty valid the tool needs to be used, maintained and operated in compliance with MIRKA safety and operating instructions.
To submit a warranty repair claim, contact your MIRKA dealer or your local MIRKA customer support.
Tools returned for warranty repair must be accompanied by valid purchase receipt or invoice. For repairs during the additional warranty period the tool must be accompanied by a valid receipt or invoice and a valid certificate for extended warranty. Otherwise warranty will not be valid.
A warranty claim must be submitted with as short delay as possible. A warranty claim must be submitted within the warranty period.
The information you provide on the registration form will be saved in the Mirka machine customer register. This information will be used for customer services, marketing communications and technical support. Mirka will not release or publicize your registration details for any purpose whatsoever. Mirka reserves the right to contact the customer either directly or via a company acting as a distributor for Mirka, for example, to solve any problems with the equipment, for advance notice regarding technical issues, and to announce product updates. Registration gives KWH Mirka Ltd. the right to store and use registration details.
