Universal Robots Kit

The Mirka AIROS is an automated, industrial, random orbital sander engineered for manufacturing – the first smart electric sander for industrial robots. It can be adapted to work with Universal Robots collaborative solutions using a special UR installation kit, which includes the AIROS tool and its motor drive cabinet, cabling, and the required UR adaptor flange. A Mirka abrasive sample kit is also included.
In addition to the Mirka AIROS random orbital sander, the Mirka AIOS's non-random sanding pad is ideal for spot repair while the Mirka AIROP is equipped with a polishing head.

Universal Robots software is available upon request.





Installation

This step by step guide shows the setup of the Universal Robots kit for the Mirka® AIROS robotic sanding head, from unboxing the kit to installing the cabinet, the adapter, the sanding head, cabling, and the necessary software.
