Mirka UK, a leading tools and abrasives manufacturer, is putting its cordless tools front and centre at ICS with the help of the Mirka®AOS-B 130NV and AROS-B 150NV. These two  spot repair sanders embody Mirka’s commitment to cordless technology, as they have been designed for versatility, to be used across multiple surfaces and applications while delivering a flawless finish and boosting efficiency and productivity.
 
The AOS-B 130NV and AROS-B 150 NV are both powered by a Mirka BPA 10820 battery pack, which has a full charge time of 40 minutes or less. This short charging time increases efficiency of jobs by reducing tool downtime for charging and when fully charged they have a battery life of up to 16 hours depending on its usage. The tools have been designed so that the user is in control of the RPM output as it can be adjusted in stages from 4,000 rpm up to 8,000 rpm with the ability to lock in the RPM to prevent accidental changes. Both tools also have a trigger system that ensures the sander stops when not in use.

Both sanders have an ergonomic design that makes them easy to handle, so they can be used for a sustained period, and the R&D team has designed them to ensure noise and vibration levels are reduced to improve overall operator comfort.   

To complement the sanders, Mirka will also be showcasing the Mirka® ANGOS ARG-B200, which can be used for multiple applications, including metal grinding, paint removal, surface conditioning, cutting and deburring. The tool’s battery means the user does not need to access pneumatic air hoses or electrical outlets to get the job done, which, in turn, leads to a tidier workspace.  
 
In addition, the tool comes with Bluetooth® technology, which allows it to be paired with the myMirkapp app. The app provides the user with data about the the tool’s performance, and the insights ensure it performs at an optimal level.
