Business Sector Manager, ART

We are looking for a Business Sector Manager to lead our Automotive Refinishing Sector (ART) globally.
For this position we are seeking a sector expert who has a customer first approach, guided by market and customer intelligence. At Mirka, you know the voice and mindset of the customer, and you are fueled by a solid understanding of the market’s development and needs. You hold a key role in the future development and strategy of the ART sector.
Your main task in this position is to take global responsibility for the sector, which includes development and follow-up of the sector strategy. We also expect you to build up strong relationships with key people in our subsidiaries and partners. The role is Global, and you will spend a large part of your time in the field influencing, implementing products and pushing solutions within your field.
Other responsibilities:
• Growth, development and health of the sector
• Ownership of product offering within ART:
- Implement product concepts and take ownership, introduce and discontinue products
- Drive field tests and product launches in cooperation with sector operations
• Training and competence development in the field
• Active input to the Red group team (target pictures and program plan)
• Implement product and solution concepts & take ownership
• Responsible for driving market intelligence into the development process
We expect you to have many of the following qualifications and skills:
• University degree or substantial industry experience
• Several years of relevant work experience within the ART-sector or in other way gained similar experience
• Clear thinker with a strategic mindset
• Based on the field, with readiness to travel ± 130 days/year
• Excellent networking skills – internally and externally
• High quality communicator, both written and verbal
• Excellent presentation skills
• Structured work approach
• Good at following agreed strategy
• Clear follow up and goal-oriented activity
