Mirka has developed a new ergonomically designed sanding block with a handle, making it easier to reach difficult surfaces. The new Handy sanding block can easily be attached to a vacuum cleaner, providing a dust-free working environment. Handy has been specially developed for sanding filler, and uses Mirka's unique Abranet net sanding technology.
It is quite simply an undeniable fact that difficult surfaces are more accurately finished with hand sanding than with power tools. With Handy it is easier - and more fun. Handy is also suitable for removal and sanding down of old paint.
Handy measures 80 x 230 mm, which is ideal for filler sanding. In addition, it is equipped with a velcro attachment instead of time-consuming clips, and has a design that stands out which means that it gets noticed.
Handy is easily attached to a vacuum cleaner, and with 55 holes on the face, dust is extracted straight away. It has an ergonomically designed two-handed grip and is easy to manoeuvre across the surface - thanks to the holes on the back for optimised extraction and airflow. The suction valve can also be adjusted for reduced or increased suction.
Handy uses Mirka's Abranet net sanding technology - which creates a healthier working environment. Abranet also lasts longer and the work is much faster than with traditional abrasives.
