As the name suggests, the optimized sanding process is aimed at the entire process and is a determining factor. In addition to the performance of each phase of the process, each step is optimized to interact perfectly with the other steps. Mirka's OSP abrasives are clearly marked with numbers indicating which disc or strip to use for each step. Number 1 is paint stripping, number 2 is edge reduction, number 3 is preparing the repaired area for the first time by reducing scratches and slightly rounding edges, and number 4 is finishing sanding.
