The Mirka® AIROS (Automated Industrial Orbital Sander) is an advanced electric sanding head for robot usage.
Rectangular sanding pad engineered especially for the wood sector, for sanding corners as well as surfaces. In applications such as manufacturing furniture, doors and windows, the AIROS 353S can be used to drive up productivity and finishing quality with robotic precision.
Mirka® AIROS is an electric and smart sander, built inside a sturdy yet light aluminium housing, featuring an ISO 9409-1 compatible flange for mechanical robot coupling. It can be adapted to fit all mechanical couplings, offering maximum flexibility. The long-life, brushless motor is extra safe for wet sanding, and it runs on constant and configurable RPM.
This model has a 81mm x 133mm sized pad and is to be connected to a dust extraction system.
