Mirka Receives EcoVadis Bronze Medal 2026

May 25, 2026

Mirka has once again demonstrated its commitment to sustainability by completing the EcoVadis sustainability assessment for the third consecutive year. In the 2026 assessment, Mirka achieved a score of 67/100, placing the company among the top 27% of all companies assessed globally and earning a Bronze Medal from EcoVadis.

Since the previous assessment, Mirka’s overall EcoVadis score has improved. The assessment especially highlighted Mirka’s advanced management systems on environmental issues as well as on labour & human rights issues.

EcoVadis is a globally recognised sustainability assessment platform specialising in evaluating companies’ sustainability performance and helping organisations improve their sustainability practices and goals. The assessment covers four key areas: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Each category and its related sub-areas are carefully evaluated and weighted to determine the overall result.

The EcoVadis assessment provides an external review of Mirka’s sustainability work and gives customers and partners a trustworthy and transparent view of the company’s current performance. Having the review carried out by an independent third party also makes it easier to share information with customers and partners that request sustainability data or assessments.

In addition to its own assessment, Mirka uses EcoVadis to assess and monitor sustainability performance within its own upstream supply chain.

Mirka’s sustainability practices are further evaluated through internationally recognised platforms such as IntegrityNext and CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project). Company-level sustainability assessments are shared through these platforms upon request.
