Technical Sales Development


We have an exciting opportunity for a Field-based automotive industry professional.

This field sales role covers the whole of Ireland.

You will be home-based, travelling to visit Distributors and End-users from Monday – Thursday. Friday is your day working from home doing your administration, online learning and planning.

The role will involve:

  • Demonstrating and selling the company’s innovative products to a variety of distributors and end-users
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
  • Visiting potential customers for new business (when safe to do so)
  • Making accurate cost calculations
  • Providing customers with quotations
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
  • Gathering market and customer information
  • Representing your organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
  • Reviewing your own sales performance, against targets as you gain experience.
  • Pipeline management on CRM and developing our existing business.

 There will be a requirement to stay away for a few nights a month.

 Candidates require a good understanding of the Automotive Refinish Industry. The successful candidate requires excellent communication skills and the ability to plan their time effectively and be able to work both independently and also as part of a team.
