Which products are needed for sanding plasterboard?

Answer: For sanding a plasterboard wall, we recommend either the Handy sanding block, the Decosander sanding tool or the LEROS random orbital wall sander.

All of these options support dust-free sanding, when using compatible Mirka products and dust extractors.

To make sanding plaster and plasterboard convenient and dust-free, we recommend using Mirka net abrasives. The Abranet Ace HD is best matched to coarse surfaces, such as sanding tile glue, wallpaper remnants and uneven areas. Use Abranet for everything else. Within the Abranet net abrasive range we recommend P180 coarseness, and P120 when using regular abrasives.
