Process

  •   The end user is to contact the Service Centre by completing the Organise a Repair form  
    • Proof of purchase
    • Warranty certificate (if registered for an extra years warranty)
    • Serial number of the machine
    • Your contact name and telephone number
    • A brief description of the fault
    • Collection address
  • If covered by warranty, the service centre will arrange collection of the machine within 48 hours. For quote repairs, the customer is responsible for organising shipment to the repair centre.

Fault covered by Warranty:

  • Machine will be repaired and returned to the Distributor or End User.
  • Collection, repair and return will take place within 7-10 working days.
  • Mirka (UK) Ltd will undertake all costs including carriage charges.
  • If considered beyond economical repair, a free of charge replacement machine will be supplied.

Fault not covered by Warranty:

  • Repairer will advise costs and payment methods and await agreement to pay from Distributor/End User before proceeding with repair.
  • For quote repairs, the customer is responsible for organising shipment to the repair centre.

Warranty does not cover

  • Any damage caused by misuse, neglect in usage or maintenance, accidents, exposure to extreme temperatures, acids, water, unsuitable storage, excessive impact or transport damages.
  • Defects caused by spare parts, accessories or components other than Mirka original spare parts or accessories.
  • Pneumatic tools used with non-filtrated air or without lubrication.
  • Normal wear and tear items such as: backing pad, break seal, shroud, rotor, vanes, exhaust fitting, muffler, bearings, rubber mount, battery (with more than 300 charges).
  • Tools that have been: modified,repaired or repair attempts (by other than Mirka authorized service), partly or completely disassembled tools.

Mirka Stolen Tool Support Scheme

Mirka UK offers a stolen tool support scheme for warranty registered machines. If your machine is stolen within the 2+1 years warranty, you can purchase a replacement machine for only £100 +VAT.

Important

Due to the unknown nature of any dust collected and its possible contents, and to ensure the Health & Safety of all concerned, All Dust Extraction units MUST be emptied and cleaned before being collected, Failure to do so will result in the unit being returned without any inspections  or repairs carried out.

Please also ensure both Dust Extraction Units & Miro Wall Sanders are well protected, when boxed ready for shipping.

Please have the unit(s) securely packaged and protected and ready for collection. We cannot accept any responsibility for damage caused during transportation.

Please do not use any packaging showing any hazardous material symbols as this will delay your package.
