Abranet® Yellow makes every interior contractor’s day healthier, faster, and cleaner by enabling truly dust-free sanding. This net-based abrasive is designed for hand and machine sanding of ceilings and walls. It comes in two formats and three grit options, covering everything from heavy material removal to fine surface finishing.
The key to Abranet Yellow's excellent wall and ceiling sanding properties is the well-balanced combination of softness and the fast-cutting net structure. The abrasive is soft and flexible enough to provide even, controlled sanding with an electric sander or hand sanding, while the net design ensures efficient material removal and excellent dust extraction.
Abranet Yellow is especially well-suited for long-neck sanders, such as the Mirka® LEROS, making it an ideal choice for fast and efficient wall and ceiling sanding. It performs exceptionally well with random orbital and rotary wall sanders, offering smooth compatibility across various sanding tools. Its flexible net construction also makes it suitable for hand sanding blocks, the Mirka® DecoSander, and manual use – providing painters with a reliable, dust-free solution for large surfaces and detailed areas.
The product is available in two formats: rectangular abrasive sheets measuring 3" × 9" and 9" diameter sanding discs. Abranet Yellow comes in three grits: coarse, medium, and fine.
Fine is ideal for soft filler and final surface preparation.
Medium is the all-purpose option, suitable for most surfaces and tasks a painter may encounter.
Coarse is designed for rough substrates, such as plaster patches and textured surfaces.
