What is a restricted material list?

The aim of Mirka Ltd's Restricted Materials List (RML) is to ensure that the use of chemical substances that may be hazardous to the environment or the health of users or that may cause other negative concerns is avoided in the company's products, accessories and spare parts.

Another objective with the RML is to achieve compliance with legislation, the Mirka Ltd environmental policy and to facilitate a consistent approach to managing chemical substances.

The RML is used to inform suppliers and other stakeholders about the status of chemical substances. It is an Integral part of parts specifications and contractual agreements with suppliers.
