DEXOS 1230 M AFC shares many features with the compact, Red Dot-awarded DEXOS 1217 M AFC. The main difference is that the 1230 M is built as a full-size model with a 30-litre container for extended, uninterrupted use.

With a 1,200 W brushless motor, built in hose storage and two sockets with optional autostart functionality, the DEXOS is a great asset for your surface finishing needs.

Improve your working ergonomics and achieve a better workflow with the DEXOS® 1230 Workstation.

The workstation includes shelves and hooks for easy access to your sanding and polishing accessories. It's modular and compatible with Modular Trolley components, allowing for customisation to meet your needs.

The construction is easy to assemble and attaches directly to your DEXOS® 1230 dust extractor with four screws, allowing you to access and replace dust bags without disassembly.

Prepare the surface after molding process

Remove Defects

The molding process of a plastic or composite part can leave behind defects such as flash, fiber risings or parting lines. Choose Mirka Abranet, Abralon or Goldflex Soft for machine sanding or hand sanding the unpainted surface smooth. After the bare finish has been perfected, the part is ready for layers of paint.

For machine sanding, Mirka DEROS or ROS power tools give you an ergonomic working process that is dust free, for a cleaner working environment and reduced need for re-works.

Finishing Stage

Remove defects in seconds from paint or clearcoat using Iridium SR spot repair abrasives and handy cordless tools. Dust nib removal is quick and ergonomic work thanks to efficient cordless tools, which give a consistent finish in sanding and polishing.

The scratch pattern of the Iridium SR makes sanding marks especially easy to polish using our water-based polishing compounds.
