How and why to use a pad saver
What is a pad saver, and how do you use it?
A pad saver is a protective layer of hook-and-loop material that sits between the backing pad and the abrasive, reducing wear and extending the life of the backing pad.
Application instructions:
1. Match the pad saver hole pattern to the backing pad.
2. Press the pad saver firmly onto the backing pad.
3. Attach the abrasive to the pad saver.
4. Place the sander on the surface and then start the machine.
We recommend replacing the pad saver when its grip weakens.
